Pastor John has been the Sr. Pastor of Scott Lake since 2023. Originally from Dallas TX, he has been a Southern Baptist Pastor for 20+ years in Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida.
He and is wife Beth have been married since 2000 and have three children: Reagan, Kennedy, and Lincoln.
They also have a miniature dachshund named “Rosie” (Rosevelt).
John has a degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University, as well as degrees from Southwestern and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminaries. John has a deep love of the Word of God and the People of God.
His passion is to lead the Church: reaching people with the gospel, teaching people how to live by what the Bible says, and serving one another in Jesus’ name.
