Pray for Me Campaign

What is the Pray for Me Campaign?
This is a 40-day prayer partnership between a youth and an adult in our church. Adults in our church will be matched with a youth (all youth participating will have parent permission). You'll be given a Pray for Me Trading Card with a picture of your youth prayer partner and some basic information. Both the adult and the youth will get a 40-Day prayer guide with ideas of things to pray about during the Pray for Me campaign.

What we are asking of you:

Pray for your assigned partner daily for 40 days using the prayer guide. We'll start on Sunday, September 7.
Introduce yourself to your partner by a card, call, text message, or by simply meeting them at church before a worship service.

3. Help us connect generations and deepen our love for the whole church family.

What we are not asking of you:

Send them gifts or buy them things. If you want to give them a pack of their favorite snack or something like that, wonderful. The most important thing is that they know someone is praying for them.
To be their spiritual guru. They only need regular people who love God and are trying to walk with Him. You aren't being asked to meet with them regularly or disciple them. Just pray for them and let God work.
To see this as a forever commitment. We are only asking you to pray for them for 40 days. After that, it's all up to you, but we hope you walk away with a new connection in our church family.
